The ‘Antidote’ Blog

There are times as we walk through this journey called life with Christ, when circumstances, situations and even people will cause us to feel dejected, deflated and defeated. Everything around us may be pushing us to throw in the towel, but God, The Holy Spirit will remind us that we are winners because God, The Son has already given us the victory! Even in the lowest of the low places, God’s Word empowers us to push past the lies of the enemy and embrace God’s truth as our ultimate reality.  “The Antidote” is a blog that serves as a spiritual inoculation against the enemy’s attacks against our minds.  These powerful one-liners are personal affirmations supported by scripture that reveal ‘The Real’. When satan presents you with ‘False Evidence Appearing Real’ (FEAR), begin to proclaim the Word of God and by FAITH embrace The Real!!!

The Real Scenario!

Confused by my praise?  You may be judging my ‘Today’ while I’m celebrating my ‘Tomorrow’.

“And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.’ And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”  2 Kings 6:17

The Real Answer!

Today’s ‘Not Yet’ is Tomorrow’s ‘Yes’ prophetically advising us that God has prepared GREATER!”

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”  Habakkuk 2:3

The Real Choice!

My increase is not subject to my circumstance; it’s subject to my release!

So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.” 1 Kings 17:15

The Real Potential!

I will not allow my past failures to keep me from future promotions!

And He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.’ So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”  John 21:6

The Real Impact!

My name carries great weight because I have a Godly walk.

“And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite.”  2 Kings 1:8
