Lady Angelia Writes for The Star of Zion, an A. M. E. Zion Church publication.

“Telling Zion’s story with faith, excellence, and purpose.” – Lady A

For several years, I have had the privilege of serving as a freelance writer for The Star of Zion, the official publication of The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. Through this work, I have been blessed to help preserve, present, and proclaim the stories, ministries, milestones, and movements that shape the life of our beloved Zion.

My writing for The Star of Zion reflects a deep commitment to faith, history, leadership, and connectional service. Whether covering worship experiences, denominational events, ministry initiatives, community impact, or the faithful labor of clergy and laity across the Church, my goal has always been to write with clarity, purpose, and reverence for the people and stories entrusted to me.

This page serves as a dedicated space to highlight my contributions, reflections, and ongoing work connected to The Star of Zion. It is also a place to celebrate the power of sacred storytelling – the kind that honors our past, documents our present, and helps inspire the promise of what is still unfolding.

As a writer, communicator, and servant of the Church, I believe every story carries value. Every testimony has meaning. Every moment of ministry deserves to be remembered. Through my work with The Star of Zion, I continue to use my voice and pen to help tell the story of Zion with excellence, faithfulness, and love.
