Writing has been my passion since elementary school and I am so excited to now be an Amazon – recognized author! Communicating through the written word is a powerful tool I use to convey Biblical principals in a uniquely engaging format that allows both the babe-in-Christ as well as the seasoned Bible-scholar to learn and to grow.
Lady Angelia Writes Book Series #2 – The ‘Reflecting Me’ Series Synopsis:
Recognizing WHO we are, WHAT our roles are, WHEN the battlefield is our mind, WHERE difficult circumstances satisfy God’s plan, WHY God’s plan is God’s plan, and HOW negating life’s negatives releases God’s promises positions us to press beyond the plethora of obstacles the enemy uses to derail our destinies and strengthens our resolve to walk out God’s original intent for our lives. The ‘Reflecting Me’ Series will guide you through a detailed process of self-reflection specifically designed to support an intimate and internal assessment of self through God’s loving and all-knowing eyes! When we clearly recognize ourselves through His perspective, we stand ready to receive, celebrate, and fully embrace His greatest promises!
THE ‘REFLECTING ME’ SERIES:
BOOK #1: “Treasure In A Clay Pot” (Recognizing WHO You Are!)
This detailed study of the potting process draws direct correlations between how clay is selected and prepared to become a beautiful vessel by the potter’s design and how we are chosen and prepared to become beautiful vessels by The Divine Potter’s Design. God has built and is building inherent value in us that can only be truly appreciated by understanding the power of His processes and embracing the purpose that drives God’s ultimate plan for our lives.
BOOK #2: “Just Keep Digging” (Recognizing WHAT Your Role Is!)
This work is an inspirational charge to keep obeying God when conditions are contrary to your success and when the work that you’ve completed is repeatedly taken from you and claimed by others. Isaac shows us the blessing of continuing to press towards the prize as God directs. God desires for us to stand firm in our convictions and stand faithfully in our roles. Our firm and faithful stands position us in God’s divine favor and produces for us God’s manifested promises.
BOOK #3: “Don’t Fret – A Reflection On Psalm 37” (Recognizing WHEN The Battlefield Is Your Mind!)
When the enemy appears to be winning and faithfulness to God seems to leave us lacking, the mind can become a ready playground for the tools of the enemy – doubt, fear, and the mindset of the defeated can easily overtake us and hinder our faith walk while hampering our relationship with God. This work reminds us of God’s faithfulness and shifts our attention from what appears to be the advancement of the enemy to the admiration of our God as we praise Him through our problems and anticipate His manifested promises!
BOOK #4: “The Famine Factor” (Recognizing WHERE Difficult Circumstances Satisfy God’s Plan!)
Famines effect more than economies and we find that they are great backdrops to life-changing moments in several of our Biblical faith leaders’ lives. Abraham encountered a famine as did his son, Isaac, that positioned them both for great change. Joseph and his brothers encountered famines that shifted family paradigms and confirmed divine purposes. Naomi and Ruth encountered a famine that changed their location and ultimately their lives. When we understand how God uses difficulty to catapult us into purpose, we can better navigate the channels of difficult circumstances, trusting Him to get us to the place of purpose.
BOOK #5: “Original Intent” (Recognizing WHY God’s Plan Is God’s Plan!)
In Genesis, ‘The Book of Beginnings’, God creates man’s purpose, man’s plan, man’s place, and then man’s person. Understanding God’s initial plan for mankind before the introduction of sin into the world helps us grasp God’s intent for mankind after the Salvific plan was initiated. Because God’s intent is foundational to our existence, our intentionality is vital to our success. As we stoically stand true to God’s original plan, our endurance through faith reveals our total trust in Him and reverberates our intimate relationship with Him.
BOOK #6: “Rejecting Rejection” (Recognizing HOW Negating Life’s Negatives Releases God’s Promises!)
Experiencing rejection is never fun; however, God will allow us to experience man’s “No!” so we can fully embrace His “Yes!” Oftentimes, we get stuck on the “No!” and are unable to live beyond it. Without God’s healing power, what was intended to be a temporary delay can keep us permanently focusing on and circling around what we don’t have and totally miss what God has prepared for us. This work will ultimately empower engaged readers to courageously stand on the “No!” to be properly positioned for God’s divine “Yes!”
