Nations Ford Community Church Hosts Powerful Prayer Breakfast!

20150425_112521Prayer was definitely the main focus at the Prayer Breakfast hosted by Pastor Cynthia Davis and Nations Ford Community Church on this past Saturday.  The auditorium filled as the worship team set the atmosphere and women found their places at tables with designated prayer focuses for improved health, God-ordered families, financial freedom, God-directed municipal and spiritual leaders, as well as the breaking of bitterness, anger and unforgiveness strongholds.  Pastor Cynthia Davis led the charge, Sister Daisy (a cancer survivor) shared her testimony and Minister Tangela Hinton gave the instruction – informing every woman in attendance that, “Sister, the Teacher is calling your name!”  (John 11:28-44)  After heeding His call, she challenged us to “Grab hold of that impossible situation, throw it down, and watch God change it!”

Armed for spiritual warfare, we women gathered – table by table – and the sound of prayer began to fill the air as we petitioned God concerning our prayer assignments.  Within our prayer circles, God’s word was declared, God’s promises were embraced, and God’s love was rehearsed!  After interceding on the behalf of others, we had the opportunity to approach the throne on behalf of ourselves as the altar call was made and Dr. Ramona Joseph prayed a prayer of release and freedom that shook the house.  It was Jubilee in that place as women celebrated the Sovereign God Who reigns, the liberty He released and His power fully revealed!  It was a day for all to exercise the truth that ‘The effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much’Prayer Has Great Power!!!
