Proverbs 3:5-6  tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”  Some things we will never understand.  No matter how much we reason, research, study, dissect, or observe, we will never be able to make sense of them.  When we master the skill of trusting God and not depending on our own understanding, our walk will become easier, our faith will become stronger, our burdens will become lighter. When we fully trust God, we are thankful for Him gracing us with the good and we are grateful for Him building us through the bad.  It is our relationship with Him that secures our stance and gives confidence to our stride.  His Word releases peace and restores order in our lives.  Realizing the abundance of His love for us allows us to give the control of the reigns of our lives to Him.  Recognizing His great love nurtures us into greater levels of trusting Him.  We grow to the place where we can close our eyes, fall backwards into His arms and know with unwavering faith, not only that He will catch us, but that He can and will carry us for as long as we dare to trust Him. Our trust IN HIM facilitates the working of His power THROUGH US.  This intimate relationship between trust and power is secured by His promise to us and sealed by Hope in Him. HOPE – To desire with expectation of obtainment; To expect with confidence.  Hope truly changes everything!
