Praying For Our Role As Parents…

prayer-for-husbands-week-7“Lord, we bless You, we praise You, we honor You, we thank You, we celebrate You because You are The Awesome God, there is none like You in all the earth. God, we thank You even now for the purpose that You have for each and every family that’s impacted by this prayer today. We thank You, God, for the families that You have established, for the purposes that You have ordained for each and every one of our lives. We thank You for our husbands and our intended husbands, God, we thank You for our relationships together in You. We thank You, God, for the children that You have blessed each union with, and we thank You, God, that You anointing us, even now in the Name of Jesus, to lead our children, to teach our children, to guide our children, to encourage our children, to instruct our children, and to provide for our children. We thank You even now God, that You have given them to us as blessings, that You’ve given us stewardship over them, God, and that You’re providing everything that we need in order to bless them in the earth so that they, too, can be blessings in the earth. We thank You even now God, for a unified front in rearing our children in the way that they should go. We thank You even now God, that You’re speaking to our hearts and You’re giving us the words that we need to encourage, the words that we need to build, the words that we need to edify, the words that we need to lift so that together as a team, God, we can encourage our children and we can lead our children, we can direct our children, we can correct our children. We thank You even now God, that because we are being led by Your Spirit, that we are walking in unity. We thank You that there’s no division in our parenting. We bless You, God, that because we have You speaking into our ear, and we have Your purpose engraved on or hearts, God, that what we do concerning our children is a unified effort. We bless You even now God, that as we lead our children, that as we follow You, God, we’re directing them towards You. We’re pouring into them the things that they need by way of Your Word. We’re directing them in Your ways, God. We’re teaching them Your statutes, Your laws, and Your commandments so that they will be engraved on their hearts that they will never forget. We bless You even now that we’re teaching our children by way of our relationship with You and even in how we relate one to another God, how to be in relationship with You. We bless You that our relationship with You, God, is primary in our lives, so they’re able to see the importance of making You first. We bless You even now God, that as we talk with them we will talk with Your Spirit, we will talk using Your Words, we will talk out of Your heart, God, and be an encouragement to them and give the lifting that they need, God, to do the things that You’ve called them to.  We bless You even now God, that even our walk will be a testimony of our relationship with You, that we will walk as one, God, so that they’re able to follow us without confusion and without chaos. We bless You even now God, that our relationship with You will create a peaceful relating, one towards the other, even as we’re dealing with our children. We bless You even now God, that we’re diligent in our relationship with You and that we’re diligent in our relationship with one another, so that we’re diligent even in our relationships with our children. We bless You, God, that those of us who have physical children, God, that You’re giving us everything we need, and even those of us who have spiritual children, God, You’re giving us everything that we need so that we can supply and provide for them as You see fit. We bless You even now that You’re giving us a unified tongue, God, to speak the same thing, to have the same voice, and the same vision concerning our children. We bless You even now that You’re showing us who they are in You, God, so that we have a pure and clear understanding of what You want to do in their lives and the way that You would have them to go. We thank You even now God, that in our unification we are speaking as one the things that You are releasing for our children in the time that You have them released. We bless You even now that we’re stating what needs to be said, and we’re holding what needs to be held for the opportune time that You have assigned, God, for those things to be revealed to them. We bless You, God, for giving us Your Spirit of love, so that everything that we do is a unified front that reflects Your love, it’s a unified front that reflects Your light, it’s a unified front that reflects Your character. We bless You even now that what we do, God, is a reflection of what You do when it comes to our role as parents. We thank You that You’re multiplying Your love within us so that we’re able to pour that love out onto our children – both physical and spiritual. We bless You even now God, that You’re giving us the confidence to walk out Your Word, to walk in Your will and to fulfill Your purpose in our role as the parent. We bless You even now God, for everything that You’ve ordained for us to teach them. Thank You for giving us a ready hand to be able to show them how to execute. Thank You for giving us willing hearts, God, and a patient spirit, that we will be with them and stand with them and understand, God that they need and understanding, not just giving direction God, but understanding so that they can have a full comprehension of what it is that You would have them to do. God, don’t allow us to be like Sampson’s parents, God. Don’t allow us to know the purpose that You’ve ordained for our children and to not articulate that purpose to our children. Give us a ready tongue to be willing to share with them so they can have a full understanding of what it is that You’ve called them to. We thank You even now God, that You’ve given us a joy down in our souls, God, for the role of parenting, that we don’t count it as a burden, God, but we call it a privilege and we call it a pleasure. We thank You even now that You’re multiplying Yourself even within us, God, so that we’re able to join together as a unified organism, God, to walk out our role as parents. We thank You that we are a strength one to another, we thank You that we are a strength and an encouragement one to another, God, in our roles as parents. Thank You for giving us the words that we need to edify one another in that role. We thank You, God, that You’re giving us insight, we thank You that You’re giving us revelation so that we’re able to see, God, beyond what we see, so that we’re able to hear, God, beyond what we hear, and we know what Your purpose is the destiny that You have destined for each and every one of  our children that You’ve blessed us with. We thank You even now, God, for all that You’re doing in our lives as we walk out this role. And we thank You for causing us not just to draw closer one to another as we parent, God, but thank You for drawing us closer to You. And as we walk out our roles as parents, God, that we see You as The Ultimate Father as we yield to You as sovereign in our lives. We bless You and we praise You even now, in Jesus Name, Amen!
